practicing architecture and landscape architecture for many years, coupled with a healthy wanderlust, took me to many wonderful landscapes in southern Africa and elsewhere and prompted me to capture my recollection of these places on canvas and paper; media such as water colours, charcoal, oil and acrylics are explored. Namibia, Botswana and the Karoo in particular are favourite places and regular visits there over more than 30 years made indelible impressions on me.
